5-28-2021 Admin. Order Updated Face Covering and Mask Requirement. Since 1857, the Madison County Courthouse has been located on Main Street in Edwardsville, Illinois. The first recorded court order was entered in 1813 when the court was in a log cabin on the north end of town. The present courthouse was dedicated in 1915.
